Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the western in an excellent game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the dealer, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers compete against other players. By wagering against the dealer, starting players don’t have to worry about any other, more experienced gamblers winning their mulla.

A further Pai Gow edge is the fairly leisurely game pace, newcomers can take their time and plan without having to make hasty selections.

It is also much simpler to bet on for a very long time with basically a tiny amount of cash after all, to lose, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the casino is given seven cards face down.

One five card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the casino’s.
