Internet poker has become globally celebrated as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years several variants on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling 21 than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer rather than each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little bluffing or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the croupier announcing "No further bets." At that point, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different players receive five cards. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you must in turn make a call wager or accede. The call bet’s amount is akin to your beginning wager, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your wager goes immediately to the bank. After the wager comes the face off. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, with a figure in accordance with the initial wager. If the dealer does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The bank pony’s up money even with your bet and controlled expectations on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
