Amateurs Tactics for Pai Gow Poker
July 5th, 2017 by Mason

Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with old ancestry. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the wild west in a wonderful game for beginning level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the croupier, not like most other poker games that players play against other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, beginning players do not need to be concerned about other, more skillful individuals winning their $$$$.

One more Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game pace, beginners can take their time and strategize while not having to make frenzied selections.

It’s also simpler to play for a very long time with just a small bit of money seeing as, to lose, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the dealer is given seven cards face down.

A 5 card hand and a two card hand have to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
