Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is dealt 7 cards face up and the house is given seven cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the casino’s.
