Ah, the steam. If a poker player states at no time to have stared faced over the shadow of an approaching poker tilt – they are either lying or they haven’t been wagering long enough. Since we are assumingly (nearly all of us) in the game for one reason – to acquire $$$$, it would make sense that we will play appropriately to maximize our profit potential. Now let’s say you are up $100 off of a 100 dollars deposit, and you take a gigantic hit in a NL game and your stack is only has remaining one hundred and twenty dollars. You have burned eighty dollars in a round where you were certain to pick up $200two hundred dollars when you decided to go all-in on the flop and held a 10 – 1 advantage. And that guy! He sucked you out on the river? – Well stop right there. This is a quintessential choice for a brand-new gambler to start tilting. They really just blew too much $$$$ on one hand that they really should have won and they’re pissed
