Novice Tactics for Pai Gow Poker
October 3rd, 2023 by Mason

Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the western in a fantastic game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the dealer, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers wager against other players. By betting against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to worry about other, more knowledgeable players taking their moolla.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game play, newcomers can take their time and strategize while not having to make frenzied selections.

It is also easier to participate in for a very long time with just a tiny amount of money after all, to not win, each of your hands must be lower than each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the dealer gets 7 cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the houses.
