Novice Tactics for Pai Gow Poker
March 17th, 2024 by Mason

Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the western in an awesome game for beginning level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the house, unlike almost all other poker games that players play against other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, beginning players don’t have to be concerned about any other, more experienced players winning their mulla.

Another Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game play, newcomers can take their time and plan without needing to make frenzied choices.

It is also simpler to participate in for a long time with just a small bit of money since, to lose, each of your hands must be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the dealer gets seven cards face down.

One five card hand and a 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the houses.
