Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the western in a wonderful game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the house, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers wager with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, beginning players don’t need to fret about any other, more experienced gamblers winning their money.
An additional Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game pace, novices will be able to take their time and plan without needing to make quick decisions.
It’s also easier to wager on for a long time with just a small bit of money after all, to not win, both of your hands has to be under each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is given seven cards face up and the dealer receives seven cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
