Newcomer Schemes for Double-Hand Poker
September 9th, 2021 by Mason

Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the western in a great game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the croupier, unlike almost all other poker games that players play with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, starting players do not have to worry about other, more advanced people taking their moolla.

One more Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game play, rookies will be able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty decisions.

It’s also much simpler to play for an extended time with only a little amount of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the dealer is given seven cards face down.

One five card hand and one two card hand need to be made from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the casino’s.
